We are delighted to be bringing Julie Rodgers to campus on Tuesday, November 9th at 7p in the Asa Packer Room (UC 3rd floor). Julie Rodgers is the author of Outlove: A Queer Christian Survival Story. She played a key role in shutting down Exodus International that largest conversion therapy organization in the world. She is featured in the Netflix Original documentary “Pray Away” (2020). Her writing has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Time Magazine, among others. Julie inspires audiences to reimagine belonging. Julie will be giving a talk entitled “Reimagining Communities: In our work. In our life” where she will tackle tough topics like how we work together to build bridges in divided spaces.

We invite you to celebrate National First Generation College Student Day and join us for an evening with Jill Duerig, Lehigh Class of 1974, as she shares with us about her experience as a first generation college student, as well as being one of the first women to attend and graduate from Lehigh University. You have the opportunity to join virtually via zoom, or in person at UC 303. There will be a small reception after the event, *registration required.* This event is part of Soaring Together, a celebration recognizing the accomplishments of Lehigh women and the impact of 50 years of coeducation.
