Closing the Gap: Challenging Gender and Racial Inequality in the Workplace
1:00pm - 2:00pm
The subject of gender and racial inequality in the workplace and on college campuses. Participants will be presented with evidence proving that gender and racial inequality do in fact exist in the workplace and on campuses. Discussion will then be encouraged between participants about their stance on the issue and what they think can be done to combat this issue.

The White Savior: A Hero or A Phony?
12:00pm - 1:00pm
Historically, white people have been deemed as the most competent group to save the ‘needy.’ The narratives passively lives through the way we construct society and go about our every day lives.  Even in our institution, the white savior complex is injected into the school’s marketing tactics: embedded into the foundation of our institution, western education pulls the international students and impoverished students (aka the needy) and makes Lehigh University once again appear as the “hero.”
 
My Culture, Not a Costume
1:00pm - 2:00pm
My Culture, Not a Costume will focus on the issue of prejudice and stereotypes that are still relevant in today’s society. Discussion will be encouraged among participants about their encounters with cultural appropriation, their thoughts on the issue and what they think should be done about it. 
 
Peers, Pressures, and Pints
12:00pm - 1:00pm
Although professional networking and other opportunities are promising outcomes of affiliating with Greek organizations, they have become a hub for alcohol abuse meant to compliment its role as an institution where partying is heavily advertised. A catalyst for alcohol abuse happens to be peer pressure that intensifies by the environment that Greek organizations have created.
 
Race: As Seen on Television
1:00pm - 2:00pm
“Media Misrepresentation,” will take a look into how different races are portrayed in the media. Discussion will be encouraged between participants about why they think misrepresentation is still relevant in today’s society.
 
The Hardships of Minorities with Mental Health Issues
12:00pm - 1:00pm
Depression is blind to color and creed; no one is immune. Access, however, to treatment tends to be limited to minorities who also happen to live in the most impoverished communities. This leaves mental health out of the conversation for minority families who are left to rely in religion,  deny its existence, or hide their symptoms because their cultures say otherwise and help seems distant.
