Community M-Room: Sustainability: La Lucha Del Pueblo/ The Fight of the People
Sustainability: La Lucha Del Pueblo/ The Fight of the People. The 21st Century Dilemma between Development and Degradation.
A conversation around how free trade agreements and structural adjustments toward the privatization of vital resource extraction processes impact vulnerable communities especially indigenous nations in the Global South. This Virtual M-Room is intended to be a discussion around access to clean water, quality air, and preservation of biodiversity. The dialogue hopes to see if sustainable development is feasible by engaging with M-Room participants to undergo a feasibility study of this equilibrium that limits the adverse effects of displacement, environmental degradation, and exploitation of laborers.
Hosted by Ronald Johnson, Graduate Student, and Campus Engagement and Outreach Graduate Assistant Office of Sustainability, Latinx Student Alliance, and the Latino Leadership Alliance of the Lehigh Valley.

Virtual Inclusion Insights - Part 1 | Human Resources
In this two session program, you will view and discuss eleven video insights presented by Steve Robbins, Ph.D.
In the various video clips, Steve will discuss stereotypes and unintentional intolerance. Steve also discusses how human nature and our brains don't always help us be inclusive, and what we can do to prevent this.
Inclusion Insights is part of our Cornerstones of Community track and is an expectation of all staff.
In order to fulfill Cornerstones of Community requirements, Parts 1 and 2 of the virtual version of this course must both be completed. Parts 1 and 2 must be taken in order.

What is Sex-Gender?
The Center for Gender Equity exists to end gender domination, which shows up in various ways as sexism, misogyny, and transphobia. How do we get to a world without gender domination? How do we engage with concepts that are both lived experiences and social interactions? This workshop engages participants in interactive dialogue and activities to understand, first, where we have been and are and then opens up space to imagine anew “sex-gender” or “gender-sex.”
