The purpose of this workshop is to explore some of the underlying psychological principles behind how and why unconscious biases happen. Through this understanding, the workshop will reveal some of the impacts and consequences of unconscious biases. Participants will be able to take action and address unconscious biases both within themselves and others.

Time TBA. Join the CGE and Global Union for a discussion on how gender issues are becoming a more prominent issue in Hong Kong amid political turmoil in the region. Discussion could include sensitive topics such as the Hong Kong Protests. This will be a Zoom Meeting, details to follow.

Join the Center for Gender Equity on March 25, 2020 for the annual opening of the Be Your Own Art Exhibit! The 2020 Be Your Own theme asked participants to think about the universal topic of love in any of its different forms -- whether it be the love that we feel for one another, our favorite things, our identities, or ourselves. There will be an opportunity to create art in response to the Gallery, and to meet some of the artists. Refreshments provided.
