We will be hosting a discussion around policies, practices, and opportunities related to making Lehigh a more family friendly campus (think parental leave, lactation spaces, childcare, etc). Yup we're showing our October Fierce Film "Cannibal Man" outdoors!!! Come dressed in costume or not...it'll be a fun event for sure. And of course there's always a queer connection in any movies from our Fierce Film collection. This one in particular was headed by a gay director and leading actors. Originally written to include an explicitly queer romance. However, due to cencorship in Spain at the time, changes had to be made to conceal it. The film was edited at least 62 times by the national sensors before its release in 1972. (Content warning: gore, death, slaughterhouse, murder). Dress warm...free snacks.

Don't you just love Halloween? It's such a queer holiday...and one we love celebrating at the Pride Center. There will be costumes, free food, tarot card readings, face painting and fun. Won't you join us? It's for all of our Lehigh community members. See you there.
