Umoja House 30th Anniversary: Celebratory Tailgate
Fall 2019 marks a significant time at Lehigh University as we honor the 30th anniversary of the Umoja House residential community. Through a series of events, we commemorate this milestone year, embracing our theme of "Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future", while preserving the meaning of why this space exists at Lehigh University.
For 30 years, Umoja - which means “unity” in Swahili, has fostered a community of student residents and leaders through a shared exploration of diversity and multiculturalism. This community has been a beacon, a destination, a safe-space that unifies and develops student advocates to pursue greater knowledge both academically and socially.
To register for the Umoja House celebratory tailgate, please visit umoja.lehigh.edu.
