Umoja House 30th Anniversary: Celebration Breakfast

In 2017, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and BALANCE (Black and Latino Alumni Network for Community and Equity) started a tradition of joining forces during the Lehigh vs. Lafayette game to promote camaraderie and mutual networking between current students, faculty and staff, and alumni of color. This year, they are joining together yet again for the RIVALRY 155 game and to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Umoja House's existence at Lehigh University. As a special nod to the founders of the Umoja House, we invite you to join us as a special presentation will be unveiled. Student Registration is free. Northeast Woodland Program | Multicultural Affairs

The Office of Multicultural Affairs in partnership with the Museum of Indian Culture Presents Native American Heritage Month. Step back in time with the Museum of Indian Culture’s Northeast Woodland program. Mr. Wesley Dunn, Vice President and Head Docent for the Museum of Indian Culture in Allentown, PA will be sharing a general history on the tribes that once lived in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Participants will see a variety of European and Native American goods that were commonly traded, and learn about food sources, tools, jewelry, etc. The program also includes demonstrations of various artifacts and an explanation of their uses.
