Diversity Champions: Inclusive Language: Diversity, Multiculturalism, Social Justice | Multicultural Affairs
The purpose of this workshop is to develop a brief understanding about the history of multiculturalism both broadly and within the institution, as well as common language used for inclusive practices. Participants will then begin to self-identify how they might carry out each of these concepts into practice and begin building their own inclusive language toolbox with other community members.

Study Jams | Multicultural Affairs
Need to find a space to "zen" out and study for finals? Join OMA for our fall 2019 Study Jams! The Office of Multicultural Affairs will be hosting our bi-annual pre-final program Study Jams Monday, December 9th from 12:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Umoja House. Study Jams provides all students an opportunity to relax, study with tutors, participate in relaxation activities, and enjoy an amazing meal before finals begin. The following activities will be happening:Program Hours: 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Restorative Yoga*: 1:30 PM-2:45 PM (To sign up, click HERE)Free 10 Minute Massages: 2:30 PM-5:30 PM (To sign up, stop the OMA suite or the day of at the Umoja House)Breakfast for Dinner: 6:00 PM-7:30 PM (served by Staff & Faculty)
