Community M-Room: Perpetual Foreigner Syndrome | Multicultural Affairs

How many times have you heard the question, "Where are you really from?" from a fellow American? This is a common question received by ethnic minority individuals living in the United States who identify as an American but also identify with their ancestral roots from another country. This real talk will discuss how having one's American identity constantly questioned due to their non-Anglo-Saxon features can cause ethnic individuals to feel like a perpetual foreigner in their own country.
