Dear World, an internationally recognized project that began in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, paid a visit to Lehigh's campus recently. Originally designed to inspire hope in that city after the massive tragedy, the project evovled into a way for people to share their stories in a way that honors those stories. Sarah Thompson and Ethan Fields, assistant directors of residence life at Lehigh, brought Dear World to campus to help the community branch out. "We wanted to create a space for difficult conversations to start happening so that they can happen more often," Thompson said.
